Great News, Well Deserved and Earned!

I know, I know, it's been awhile. Then by the time I write it's a novel! Anyway, big announcement! My hubby passed his electrical Journeyman's licence test! This is a big deal, since 90% of the class in January did not. He has been in school for 5 years, and it's been a long road, he graduates in May, but the learning is not over. Electrical codes change every 3 years and you have to learn them all over again, and take classes here and there. He got a new codes book a few weeks before he took the test and ended up having quite a bit of q's from that. He loves his job, it's manual labor, lots of math and problem solving and fixing and assembling and installing and more. He loves it and is so good at it! Yay for you, Honey! We're so proud!

BABIES IN HEAVEN

JUST WANTED TO WRITE ABOUT SOMETHING REAL AND TRUE AND HOPE IT TOUCHES YOU. MOST OF YOU WHO KNOW ME KNOW I HAVE A BABY BOOK FROM MY FIRST PREGNANCY THAT WAS FILLED IT AND PUT AWAY AFTER THAT BABY PASSED. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MEET REACH OUT TO, BE HONEST WITH, PRAY WITH, HELP, COUNCIL AND JUST LISTEN TO SO MANY OTHERS WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS. MISCARRIAGE, LOSING A PART OF YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND, LOSING A CHILD OF YOUR HEART ISN'T EASY. I JUST HAVE TO SAY I AM SO BLESSED BY HAVING 2 BEAUTIFUL HEALTHY SWEET BABIES, A DAUGHTER AND A SON. HARDLY CAN I COMPLAIN OR QUESTION GOD. HE IS ADDING TO HIS KINGDOM. WE LOST OUR 4TH PREGNANCY THIS PAST DECEMBER. WE HAVE 2 ANGELS AND 2 CHILDREN. IT'S DEVASTATING, BUT ALSO IT'S CRUCIAL WHAT YOU DO WITH THAT PAIN. HE CAN TRULY TURN YOUR SORROW INTO JOY, I AM TELLING YOU! WHILE IT'S OKAY TO CRY AND GRIEVE, HONESTLY, THE PEACE HE FILLS YOUR HEART WITH IS INDESCRIBABLE! IT HAS MADE ME MORE OPEN TO SHARE, IT GIVES YOU A HEART OF COMPASSION AND THANKFULNESS FOR EVERY MOMENT, EVERY MEMORY, EVERY DAY. THIS IS A SONG THAT HAS TRULY HELPED ME SO MUCH AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. I THOUGHT I'D SHARE, WE ALL KNOW IT, BUT TO READ THE WORDS IS ALSO FULFILLING.

Well Mia's princess party was a smashing hit! We had about 20 kids running around in dress up clothing, princesses, fairies and even a lion! It was sweet, we had little dessert treats instead of party food which everyone was impressed with. Daddy made cookie lollies, and we had truffles Auntie Sheri made, Miss Shelly brought fresh fruit, we had glittery cupcakes, pretty candy and glitter sparkle pretzel rods, peppermint patties my mom makes homemade, and other sweet treats. It was a beautiful snowy day and we stayed over our friend's house for the weekend, their home is another home for us, we stay over all the time. They have more room and space to work with and were all too happy to host the party. It was nice to have the help too. The night before we all decorated the cookies and cupcakes and cakes and such and decorated the house in the morning. Steve brought out his pastry bag and tips and totally jazzed up the simple cake I had designed. It was perfect. I went to Joann's with coupon in hand and an idea in my head. I searched thru remants and found a satiny silky red for 1/2 off and a spool of gold ribbon which I had a 40% off for. I made a throne for her to sit on and open her presents. All for under $8. It's the little details that pretty everything up and make a difference. She had a wonderful time and all the kids played well and the adults mingled. It was a great day!
